Book Reading of The Inner Sense of Trees

At 4pm, Sunday 5th November, following the Despacho Ceremony on Sunday at Pendragon House, we will be having a special event for families.

As part of The Tree Conference Author Tara Joy will be reading her book ‘The Inner Sense of Trees’ while the bright and often humorous illustrations are projected onto the big screen. To add to the overall magical experience, it will be accompanied by beautiful music being played by Nathan Lewis Williams on the Bouzouki and Gerry Barnett on the Cello.

Bring the whole family, get comfortable and be prepared to be transported on an adventure that is one of a kind and that should inspire greater appreciation of nature and trees.

This epic story takes place on a little planet. It tells how the Bigglings become too greedy, forget the importance of trees and almost destroy every last one, whilst the Igglings sleep and only get involved when everything is almost lost. Fortunately, with the help of the last two trees, they unite to save their little world.

This is a free event and all are welcome to attend.

If you would like to contact Tara Joy or find out more about her work with the international NGO Active Remedy finding ways to safeguard water systems please check out the website www.activeremedy.org.
